A recording of the Wolastoq Song by Sarah Francis, First Nations Education Coordinator for ASD-W, and a video explaining the story and people behind this recording. As Sarah says in these videos, it is important that we all understand whose homeland we reside on and that we honour the Wolastoq by sharing her name. She calls upon all the schools in Wolastokuk to honour the river by playing this song in their buildings.

The Wolastoq song is beautiful. Are the lyrics available for those of us who would like to sing it with our students? Thank you!
