Feast Song / Kwa’ Nu’ Te’ (Sing-Along)

The Feast Song, or wi’kupaltimkewey (a big feast), is a Mi’kmaw chant, usually sung before a big feast. The featured audio in this video is by Chief Ben Christmas, recorded in 1961. A big wela’lin to Dr. Bernie Francis for sharing this audio, and helping dozens at a recent gathering to learn this song.
